ROTARY CLUB OF PUNE PHOENIX

ROTARY CLUB OF PUNE PHOENIX came to be formed & a CHARTER of the same has been issued by Rotary International on 26 th September, 2019 having the Club Number as 90481. Rtn. Manasi Khurjekar was the Charter President of RCP Phoenix. Since then, Rtn. Sanjay Deo, Rtn. Pradnya Dange, Rtn. Dr. Sameer Dolare & Rtn. Vinay Kumthekar have served as Presidents for the club. From 1 st July, 2025 Rtn. Adv. Madhav Soman has assumed the charge of President.

Mission

To identify and address community needs with sustainable service initiatives, foster leadership among youth, celebrate cultural harmony, and inspire collective action by empowering members to create hope and make a lasting impact – locally and globally.

Projects

RCP Phoenix did a global grant project of pediatric cardiac surgery

The same was executed at Satya Sai Sanjeevan Hospital, Kharghar. Total 20 surgeries have been carried out under this project. This is very important life saving project for children.

RCP Phoenix took part in district 3131 Chatrachaya

Under this project, club distributed 20 umbrellas to street vendors in Pune city.

RCP Phoenix conducted mamography at Hanuman Nagar.

Where in about 50 women's were checked up.

RCP Phoenix conducted a dental and medical check up camp at nandadeep Palnaghar, Karvenagar, Pune.

Dental & medical check up of about 75 children within the age group of 4 to 9 years were carried out.

RCP Phoenix distributed music equipments, laptop and sanitary pads at Hire High school, Ahilyadevi High School & Vanaz School.

It has benefited about 300 students in these different School. Laptop donation has been done by the club in synergy with RCP Deccan Gymkhana with the assistance of Tech Mahindra Company.
